9/11 Unanswered Questions

The release of Geert Wilders Video (a Dutch politician has released a 10 minute video showcasing his views on Islam) coincided with the week that world as we know it changed for me completely.

Caught between providers for 10 days I found myself without television. I chose to use the Internet for entertainment and happened upon http://www.freedocumentaries.org/ Through this site I uncovered movies like `Loose Change`, `Aftermath- Unanswered Questions from 9/11` and `Ludicrous Diversion`. These movies suggest that The US and UK Governments have ´covered up´ aspects of the 9/11 bombings in America and the 7/7 bombings in London.

I received warnings from friends and family that these kinds of conspiracies have existed for years, on other topics as well as this one and that I should not believe everything I hear or see. I was not put off by these warnings. There were too many films on the subject and too many websites offering the information. What really got my interest was the amount of families from people lost in the attacks that were being ignored by the government when looking for answers, or the people that were involved, injured or part of the rescue mission that also had many unanswered questions.

It was not conspiracy theories being represented by these films anyway, it was unanswered questions and unexplained facts. The aim of some of these movies and websites I have found is not to suggest what happened or guesstimate motives but to point out the facts and press for truth. In the case of 9/11, the facts and sometimes lack of facts speak for itself.

I have spent over a week now thinking about this subject regularly. I have researched beyond the movies and found a huge amount of information available. There are organisations on the net that are dedicated to research into the 9/11 truth - http://www.911truth.org/ is one of them.

I have watched videos of the towers fall from all angles, and listened to accounts from demolition experts and eye witnesses. I have learned all about the failures in US air protection the day of 9/11 because of the war games practises that were taking place. I have read in great detail about the holes in the 9/11 commission report, I have searched out press articles from the time and to the present day and I have used the 911 timeline from Paul Thompson to investigate other holes and issues surrounding the event. I have investigated the idea of ´false flag´ operations and their use in Warfare.

Why so much research? This is important to me. 9/11 defined the world as we know it today. There are ways that 9/11 defined the times that I was not even aware of until I began this research. 9/11 began the war on terror, giving the Bush administration the green light to take war to search out weapons of mass destruction that would never be found and invade oil heavy Iraq. 9/11 also changed things stateside and in Europe. Muslims have been re-branded for those that read the papers, laws were passed in the name of terrorism that mean you can be detained without questioning or charge. US citizen freedom is deteriorating with the effect on civil liberties since 9/11, the government has more right to secrecy and the government has more right to your private information.

Similar laws have been passed through Parliament since the London bombings of 7/7.

But now we are talking conspiracy theories.... I suggest to you that the only true conspiracy theory is the one that we have been fed through the news for the last 6 and half years. The one Geert would have you believe if you watch his film. Propaganda for the masses.

First, before you consider government motives and conspiracy theories, I urge you to educate yourself on the issues surrounding 9/11. It is vital you question everything you have been led to believe about 9/11 and therefore any opinions you have formulated since.

Educate.

Please feel free to share your thoughts as you go. Lets educate each other.

In alot of people's minds I think this subject is already closed. Why bring something up that happened years ago?

But the fact is that the events that day DID change the world as we know it now in so many ways and I don't believe for a second that the ramifications from that day are yet over - not by a long shot.

Even today there are still stories in the press about terrorist attacks in the UK, more measures being brought in to prevent further attacks, bomb squads setting of controlled explosions in Bristol I read this morning and our troops are STILL in Iraq.

This topic is JUST as relevant now as on 11 September 2001.

Sadly with all things of this magnitude it may only be the Historians of the future who can accurately see all the ways in which this has affected the world and by then it will probably be too late.
