Welcome to our world! Our world, with my views on it!
I decided it was time I found a place to vent my opinions and air my views. A place that will be more welcoming than the admittedly overused ears of my colleagues and unanswered emails to my urban family.
I want people to get passionate about the stuff I am sharing with them, passionate the way I have found myself to be. Unfortunately for me and possibly for the world, it seldom happens. I am often met with temporary or feigned interest, pleasant requests for me to once again get down off my soap box and at worst eye rolling and shut down. Luckily though I also enjoy the odd conversation with a genuinely moved stranger and I have great friends who enjoy a good massdebate as much as I do, they constantly challenge me and through this I question my own beliefs and I grow.
So this is a gateway for me reach out to others with interest, those moved enough by the things they are passionate about to make a stand, to gain knowledge and possibly make a difference. Making a difference does not take the grand gestures some might think, it can be as simple as educating yourself and sharing what you know. We are all capable and we are all responsible. Lets do our bit.
